This part slayed me.
I’m late, but in my defense I was on planes much of the last five days.
So a quick prefatory comment: I’m quoted on the back of The Hunger Games for nice things I said about the first book in the New York Times Book Review when it came out, so obviously I like the book. Back then, I remember…
Read John Green’s full, brilliant review of the movie at the source.
He really, really emphasized the “tor.” Like, “But you’re our menTOR!” I laughed, it was actually pretty endearing.
Did anyone else notice this or was it just me?
“I guess we go home and try to forget.”
“I don’t want to forget.”
Introducing Movie Moments! Basically, moments in the movie that weren’t in the book or simply couldn’t be expressed in the book; they can be quirky, funny, particularly amazing - whatever! Send me suggestions in my ask box, and I’ll credit you if it’s used!
(P.S. - is it too soon to post these without a “thgspoiler” tag? Let me know if so!)
